This document describes the recommended rules and standards for the preparation of a CSV file and the definitions of the terms used to create metadata descriptions for tabular data. It is divided into three parts, the first of which deals with the general summary of a CSV file, the second with the metadata file and the last with recommendations specific to Switzerland.
